Who Are We?

‘thebestaround.co.uk’ a National network of franchised based Regional and local community, Information, education and advertising web site portals run and owned by members of the community in which they live.

‘thebestaround.co.uk’ was established in the winter of 2007 as the trading arm of My Community on Video 4U Ltd a part social enterprise business, and went into pre-launch in the spring of 2009. It is hoped to go live in a National and Regional launch in the Autumn or winter of 2009.

There are now two live web sites nationwide. The first website launched was ‘thebestaround.co.uk National website, closely followed by the first Regional area web site, www.thebestaround.co.uk/rutlandarea which has now expanded and become www.thebestaround/eastmidlands area regional website. This web site will incorporate the whole of the East Midlands.

The Open Forum

The open Forum side of the community web site may be used by anybody with a voice wishing to spread the word and be remembered. This is an open forum; at no time will the web site editor show favour or prejudice. Although at times, the web site editor may act in the role of Devil's Advocate in proposing the question or leading a debate forward.

So, if anybody who has a debate they wish to start or they just wish to vent their spleen, then the open forum is the place for them to do it, no subject is taboo, but the content of any subject must be legal and comply with all United Kingdom, European and International Laws.
